Great starting point for a hike . Can get crowded in the summer, but the fishing is sublime and the hiking trails are unsurpassed.

Has primitive camp sites with concrete picnic tables and vault toilets. There are also a handful of water spickets throughout the campground but no electric hookups or runningn water bathrooms.
